I want to make a cursor (a 20 x 20 Pixel Icon)...

Question

I want to make a cursor (a 20 x 20 Pixel Icon) flash about once per second on the map. In terms of GPSTOOLS resources.. which is the best way to do this...Have the ICON on a layer that I Show / Hide , or Create / Delete / Dispose the ICON each time. Is there any difference as far as GPSTOOLS is concerned ?
