As stated, I want to make a class for those who want to know how to make web sites. Does anybody have a suggestion as to where I should place this event for people to attend? (Ex: School, but I already know that my school will not support this idea.)

  1. Could you mail me if you know how to do login/join codes without javscript?

Well, obviously the school won't support you in your offer to help, so you might want to put up some flyers around your town for daytime meetings where you can discuss codes and such. Tell them it's for free, how to contact you, and what you will be learning.

HTML/CSS is a great way for everyone to know how websites work, I'm glad you want to contribute to your community.

  2. If your library has a computer room, you could look into renting it out.

Obivously you'd want some place with at least a couple of computers or wireless access if people bring laptops.

  3. A local community college or perhaps a community center.  If you state you are doing it for free they may be happy to provide a space for you to do so.  Some churches may as well.  (They do have AA and Boy Scout meetings at some.)
