what kinda of grass do i need to get, what kind of dirt needs to be put down, any other details i might need to know before i start tackling this project?

  1. Yeah i would have to say, you would not get any benifit from turf, i would totally recomend synthetic greens which you only need to put sand on, every so often, no cutting, no wear, no wet. plus its purfect all year round (unless it snows etc)

  2. Bentgrass is good for some climates, bermuda if you are in a climate that gets really hot in summer.  You will be surprised how much work needs to go into building a green, getting to grow in, and then maintaining it.  You are looking at a couple seasons before you strike the first putt.

  3. Get an artificial surface.

    Real grass is too much money to install and upkeep, for what, if any advantage it gives.

  4. Turf is the best grass but im not sure about the dirt.
