I want to make a long board out of my old skateboard,?

i want to make my old skateboard deck to be a long board, how do i go about and where do i get the needed materials?

1) you can mount the trucks on both tails of the board. this makes it turn less but is kinda fun and your a lot closer to the ground.

2) find someone who makes longboards and see if he can drop the trucks through the board. you turn the same and your closer to the ground.

the advantage to being close to the ground is you have more control at speeds and it makes it easier to push around because your not bending your supporting knee. it also enables you to slide with more control.

dude, just break it or use it for carpetboarding and just buy a longboard like normal people
