I think the video files are IFO, but they might be VOB files. How do I convert these to work on Windows Movie Maker?

And I would prefer no watermarks whatsoever. Thanks!!

  1. you need convert it to wmv, here is the guide about ripping DVD to video formats like AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, RM, MOV, 3GP, 3GP2, MP4, MP4 AVC, etc. as well as rip DVD to audio formats including MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, AC3, M4A(AAC), OGG, RA, AU, etc to play on iPod touch/classic/video/nano, iPhone, Zune, PSP, video capable MP3 players, video capable mobile phones, and Pocket P.C., etc.

Also, you can google some other software:

  2. type in IFO to avi or vob to avi, and find a converter

    Very powerful.

Convert dvd files on dvd disc or dvd files folder on pc to various format video.

    But it's not free!

If you do this just for fun or once or twice, you may turn to this freeware: handbrake

    http://handbrake.fr/?article=download

Convert DVD files on dvd disc to  MP4, MKV, AVI, OGM, AAC, MP3 etc.

But tons of patience is necessary.

Try both and make a choice.
