  1. I would suggest you get in touch with your nearest hobby shop or Radio Control Club. The people are friendly and are keen to help out the new comers.

You can buy a model kit with matching engine and a suitable radio at yur hobby shop. The recommended model is what is known as a 'Ready to Fly' kit (RTF). The wing span size would be bigger than 1 meter and she will be capable of running on fuel and taking off and landing on a runway. Take some body's help during the first few flights and you will enjoy model flying for a long time.

    Good luck and happy landings.

  2. Millions of people are making them all the time.  They are called radio controlled model airplanes.  They run on "fuel" and have all the controls of real airplanes.  They come in all sizes and types.

To learn all about the hobby and the technology, do an internet search on "rc model airplane."

    Have fun!

  3. Start of with a trainer , prop . Then try a jet that runs on nitro. get familiar with the systems on it , and maybe if your good enough build one. Don't fly it in a crowded place though , the nitrous planes can cause serious damage.
