  1. I would suggest that you start with a kit.  I do not make wine, but brew beer and have found Midwest Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies to be a super source.

  2. There are many websites, just google it.  I live in an area where blackberries grow everywhere out of control, so last summer I tried to make wine out of them.  It almost worked - this year I'm going to try to find a better recipe on the internet.  It involves smashing the berries, adding yeast, sugar, and water, and letting it sit for a month or two.  Good luck!

  3. I've made beer before, but the concept is the same except for the bottling.  The best thing to do is to get a kit for wine making.  The important thing is cleanliness for 2 reasons:

    1.  Any contamination will make it taste bad, and 2.  It might even make you sick.

The things you have to protect against are bacteria and wild yeast.   The kit will provide containers that haven't been scratched up.  Bacteria likes to live in the scratches.  Follow directions carefully about cleaning everything that your wine or juice will touch.  The other thing you have to protect against is wild yeast.  There is plenty of it in the air, so when you start fermenting, you have to keep air out.  In beer making you do this with a "bubbler".  It lets the gas pressure out as the carbon dioxide (a byproduct of fermentation) is forming, but doesn't let any room air in.  The other thing that wine producers add is a sulfur dioxide compound.  This is like a perservative and I think that it's required for commercial wine makers according to the law in many states.  As a home vintnor, you don't have to use this and it does affect taste.  Check those web sites for ways around this.  Best of luck.
