I want to make corndogs, but don't know this ingredient?

I'm not fluent in English and was wondering: What is cornmeal? I live in South Africa and this is one of the ingredients

Go look for "maize meal" or mielie meel in Shoprite or Checkers...

Dried, ground corn kernels or u could use cornbread mix hope i helped!!!

it is what cornbread is made out of. buy a box or cornbread mix. it cost about 50 cents.
