I want to make dumplings?

all home recipies please, nothing of the the tinternet, and preferably without all purpose flour cuz we dont have that in england, i just went to carnval and saw 'golden balls' am i right to assume there sweet dumplin, and they were so round and golden, not at all like how i make them, recipies or suggestions please?

I can't help you with the recipe, but all purpose flour is what is called plain flour here in the UK which is very easy to find.

Most shops should have both self raising and plain flour.

Self raising flour already has raising agents added.
