no. gambling is based on the premise that the "house" will always do better than the player. Not to mention, you don't "make money" gambling even if you win. You get money if you win but there was no mental or physical effort put out by you for this money

NO! the more you can win, the more people bought tickets, therefore the more people with chances to win, therefore giving each individual person a lower chance of winning.

Example:

i bet on a coin toss. there is a 50% chance of winning, since there are two of us betting.

i bet on the roll of a standard die. there is a 16.67% chance of me winning because my odds are 1/6 that i will win. put that into perspective with hundreds of millions of dollars.
