Hello, in my spare time I am wanting to make money online but I am only 16.

I use ebay but nothing much more to sell!

I can't gamble because I am too young :( (Or can I?)

I was thinking about setting up an mp3 store were I could sell 'Hard Dance' mp3s but I havent a clue what licenses I would need and again my age!

I am not very technikal and would get help if I needed to set up a website.

But can anyone think of a way to make cash online, I am from the UK so please no Americans replying about clicking adverts daily.

Cheers

  1. If you have someone over 18 that can trust you with what you are doing, then you could ask them to sign up to the iTunes affiliate program on behalf of your self and advertise the whole of itunes on your website, and you will get 4% of all sales from all mp3's sold which were directed from your website, then you will own a steady income depending on how much traffic you direct to your website and how many people actually purchase a song in relation to being directed to the itunes website from your website. Obviously you will need a website first and then someone to host it, so in the mean time it maybe a good idea to learn website building and designing first before you do it becuase its first impressions that count, if you design a naff website then knowone will take your website seriously, so learn to build a graphically perfect website using html, then you will need to learn .php (which does all the clever feature rich stuff), also if you can learn all about SQL and MS SQL if you learn all this stuff in this order (it will take you atleast 2 years to learn it good) then by the age of 18 you will be able to run the itunes affiliate in your name and be a web wizzared with 2 yrs experience so you can make an awsom MP3 website, to be honest dont narrow your site just to hard dance (yes i do love that music) but other people might like house, trance, techno, etc which will bring you more money!!!!

    Hope this helps!!!!

  3. At 16 you can get a decent job in SOME supermarkets or in stores in the high street.

Let's see, your target audience for the MP3s are likely to be teens or young adults, a lot of people download their music for free - do you think they will pay to buy them off a website?
