I want to make movie trailers for a career. What am I supposed to major in when I go to college?

Digital Arts and Film.

If you go to the website of a college and click on 'degree's it usually lists the classes you need to take. I'm going for that degree too but I'm going to either become a screenwriter or visual effects person. I'm going to a community college and the classes I have to take are introduction into digital arts which is pretty much the history of radio, newspaper, tv, movies and so on. Video editing, screen writing, history of american cinema, and theres a bunch more classes and you also have to take your basic stuff like writing, math, science and what not.
