I want to make my own race gokart with a gokart kit. I can only pay 500-700. Where do i get everything online?

i race karts competitivly and trust me you cant. i have a monza which is the same kart as a birel just with diferent plastic. it was about 5300 dollars and then to race each day it costs about 100 dollars. engines cost at least $700 new. and a cheap used kart on ebay is gunna cost ya about 1000 dollars

go to home depot and buy some d**n 1 inch metal tubing. enough for your kart. then weld it and buy a  flippin motor from harbor freight. you can get one for 300 bucks and the motor is 13 hp. then it would probably be  200 bucks for tubing. then have tubing bent and weld it your self and then go to a junkyard and spend 30 bucks on pedals and go to a bike shop and have um sell you the right length cable and hook the cable to th motor and put the cable on the pedal and take a piece of steel and have it welded to the axle on all four sides, and ask a parts store to help you with brakes
