I want to make smoothies, and drinks and put fruit in to chop up to make drinks,?

what do i need a blender or smoothie maker or juicer?

to tell you the truth, any of those will really work, but I would recommend using the blender because it usually has more options as far as chopping, grinding, or mixing...plus if you're going to put ice into it, it has special features to chop for, specifically, ice.   A smoothie maker would work too and it has the dispenser tap which is cool, but it doesn't do what a blender can, and a juicer, well....enough said.

Definitely go with the blender or like suggested by another person is to get a 3-in-1 blender....but as you can see, what is the last word of that?  "Blender"....so go with the blender my friend.

I use my blender, and have a smoothie for lunch everyday.  I like to use frozen fruit, instead of some of the ice...  But, you can use fresh fruit too.  I use yogurt, some juice, ice, fruit and a scoop of vanilla soy protein powder and blend.....

I use a vase blender, because juicers don't work well with bananas and I love them.  I just buy the orange juice already squeezed, fill the vase with all sorts of fruit and about 1/2 glass or less of OJ and whizz it.

Personally, I have a smoothie maker.  It is especially nice if you are serving more than yourself.  Make sure you get one with a pouring spout in front.  I make my smoothies with 2 cups of yogurt, 4 cups of strawberries, and 2 bananas.  This makes a very large, but tasty, batch.  Of course you'll substitute your own foods, but I think you'll like it.  Good Luck!
