You should get the energy saving light bulbs then your saving energy and they last for about 5 years! My dad changed all the light bulbs and now there getting brighter every time you turn them on or keep them on.Thanks for reading MY suggestion.

Well, there are many categories for answering your very important question!

We should change our life style, to make it better, then, eventually we will spend the prompt energy!

Then, there are some kinds of energy that it is fine to spend, while others we should avoid!

For example: walking is great, health and dos not hurt the environment, much! Driving is also fine, if it is not against our time and comfort! Best: to live close to work and places we get supplies, amusement, and close to Nature!

Then, we could reduce by improving the envelope of our homes (double pane windows, not large opening, correct orientation, etc.)

Proper sets at home! Also, a family discussion, or with friends, improves our minds and reduce energy consumption.

Car usage!

Utilize Nature to our benefit, improving our finances too!

The gas stoves used or for too high powered ones. Use stoves with small burners. Use pressure cookers. They cook much faster with less fuel. Switch off lights as you leave a room. Use less water It requires fuel to pump it. Never use golf carts when golfing.

A Bigger OFF switch

take an off switch (socket or light) and put big extentions on it so can't be missed.

for an extra benifit make it harder/stiffer to turn on, automatically turn off after 1 hour etc.
