I want to make something useful for my summer.?

If anybody knows where I can sign up for a volunteer work worldwide. Like providing food and medicine in hot areas around the world where conflict have taken hand, teaching, helping the environment, social care and anything that is an issue in the current world affairs. I just want to do something noble and help some cause. The only problem is that I don't have much money and that is why I am looking for a position that is with arranged accommodation and food. I am not looking for payment and do not want any money in return for my help, Just the basic needs. I saw wokr of this kind in the web site www.worldwidehelpers.com but they all need to be payd, either accommodation or food. So if anybody have any idea and understood me please let me now. Thanks

Your best bet is UNICEF that wil take volunteers and use them. But may i recommend home bound? Before going across th eglobe we still need help for Katrina victims, VA hospitals that are overwhelmed by injured soldiers, Children who are in d=ire need for mentors-this will probably cut on your cost.
