I want to marry my boyfriend who is a UK citizen?

We are not engaged yet, but are planning on it. We have been together for over 3 years, he went to school here and graduated, and is back home working until he comes in december when I graduate. We are talking of getting married when he is on a visitor visa and then changing his status, rather than doing the K-1 fiance visa because we don't want to wait any longer than we already have. Can we do this?

You should not get married in the US with him on a visitor visa - will cause a lot of problems for him.  Apply for the visa and then get married or get married in the UK and get visa then.  It would be a shame if he were to be banned because you did not want to wait for the paperwork.
