He went out on a limb by letting you know that he finds you worthy of his time, starting slowly at first until he sees you every day.  I think it is romantic.  It is only creepy if you don't care for him and you don't want him around you.  He might be worth getting to know.  It's up to you now.  How do you feel?

He loves you but kinds of hides it with a poem. It sounds a bit sadistic but it isn't. Say if...was he smiling/serious/laughing while he said it? I don´t know his reaction before or during or after he said it. But I can tell he loves you, maybe its had for him to show how he loves you since maybe he never had a girlfriend before, I don´t know. But, I´m sure he loves you. Get your luck on this one :)

Did you two meet online?  Or do you know him from real life.  Either way, he kind of sounds like a stalker type.  Just be careful.  

And about him being romantic or sadistic.  It depends on how you feel about him.  If you like him and feel the same way about him then he's romantic of you don't then he's being sadistic.
