  1. I wanna come too

  2. I do not think any one other than environmentalists and ec o scientists stay there. It is a eco friendly island

  3. cc_of_oz is correct. Australian Islands like Lord Howe, Norfolk, Cocos, and Christmas do not allow for people to settle there, even if your Australian. You might get to work there temporarily only. You must be born on them or be a descendant of those original inhabitants.

You could apply to become a lighthouse keeper if those jobs exist anymore, or change your surname to Clunies-Ross and try your luck by just turning up on Christmas Island.

There are some islands off the Queensland coast that you can purchase property on, but watch out. You'll need to bring in everything including water! My mom's cousin once bought a property on a Queensland Island in the 1970's but then he discovered later that it is below high tide! He and about a hundred other people still have titles to these blocks that disappear for a few hours underwater every high tide.

  4. As far as I know you have to be born on Lord Howe Island to own property there (The same applies to Norfolk Island).

The government restricts the tourist numbers to 400 at any one time.  The island has a population of about 350 people.

Lord Howe Island is world heritage listed.  There are no resort style hotels on the island, just boutique inns.   I believe it would be quite difficult to relocate there permanently.
