I want to move to Canada, would i freeze to death ? and how legal is marijuana there?

I am 6'4 140 lbs and a native Floridian, I get cold when its below 70 degrees.I need to know these things before I jump in a U-Haul and go to the new land of opportunity.Do tourists get free medical care?whats that aboot? ( i got the language down pretty good eh?)

i moved from florida, i now live just south of the border. you will freeze.  aly, right above me says it's pleasent, but she's from canada!  right now it's actually hot in vancouver, 75 some days.

Anyway, I am from the States too.  I have survived 3 Canadian winters so far and no frostbite yet.  Just get a good coat (and gloves, hat, scarf and boots!)

I don't know why people always ask about legal marijuana up here.  Did I miss something???  No, it is not legal.  And committing a crime in a foreign country is not something you want to get mixed up in.

If you can't go below 70 degrees then maybe you should stick to more tropical climates.  Last January it went to -47 degrees here for 3 days in a row.  We are in Edmonton.  Good Luck!!!!

i hope thats a really bad joke... we dont say eh? or aboot...its about, always. anyway depending on where you live in canada it can be quite pleasant weather wise. for example..sounthern vancouver island has the warmest water north of the gulf of mexico, and also only gets snow about twice a year...if you move to say....churchill you will be in snow 8 months of the year..its a huge *** country..im not sure about the tourist and free health care thing, i dont think so, because you need a canadian health card. marajuana is not legal here, anything under 3 gr. i think it is is just a fine, but anything over you get charged.
