I want to move to Canada but I don't know to chose from Toronto or Ottawa? I live right now in New York and I speak English and Spanish but I don't mind learn French.

  1. Both places have lots to offer in Ottawa you MAY need to learn some French BUT for the majority of jobs you can get there you won't need it, that is unless you are going for a government job and then the language n***s require that you speak fluent French and margional English.  Depending on what you do knowing Spanish may be an advantage.  Ottawa is tagged as the coldest capital city in the world and it is also known as the city that fun forgot.  Public transit is centred on buses and sometimes you can only get to certian places at rush hour.

Toronto is a VERY large city lots to see and do there I enjoyed living there when I did but after living in some smaller centres I perfer that now to the big city

  2. Choose Ottawa.  All the culture you can get in Toronto, with way more soul.

  3. It will take quite a while to get immigration sorted out. Information is here: http://www.goingtocanada.gc.ca.

The best jobs in Ottawa are in Government and you would not be eligible until you become a citizen, three years after you arrive as a landed immigrant. You might find Toronto easier for jobs and living.

  4. I would choose Toronto. Toronto is rich in culture, and very diverse. Toronto is has everything. There are plenty of jobs available. And it's not that far from Buffalo, if you decided to visit America.
