I am 20 years old, and currently work as a "man of many hats" I do data entry, dollar-cost-averaging, purchasing, and precision plastics fabrication, but mainly I concentrate on Sales. I have been to Colorado Springs, Denver, and Boulder areas; and I love all of them. The mountains seem to be my calling, I love the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hiking.

My reasoning for wanting to move is that I feel like I am stuck in a rut. nobody from my family lives outside of minnesota, and 80% of them live in the same small town.

I have not gone to college, but been working at this job for 2 and a half years. I recently purchased my first house in the same small town as the rest of my family. So, I'm not looking to move tomorrow, more like 3-5 years so i can get more experience under my belt.

I am curious if anyone has advise on where to go, or how to even start the process? I am a very active/fit person, and I do not have any tie-downs besides my house. I am looking for a new beginning, and to work in the same type of industry. (plastics/sales)

Are there good places to meet women out there? Or somewhere that would be a better fit for someone near my age?

  1. Well, Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder are all very nice towns with very active people, outdoor activities, and alot of things to do...Colorado Springs has a few military bases, so there are alot of guys there and little to do for young professionals...Boulder is a pretty expensive place to live or buy a house, and Fort Collins is a college town so its great to meet people and its growing alot. I've lived in Springs, Denver, and Boulder. I think Denver is a nice city, good jobs, nice neighborhoods, good population of young professionals, and its close to the mountains, hiking, etc. Good luck, most will say its a great state to live in!

  2. Advice?  Yes.  Don't move to Colorado.  It is getting too crowded and polluted.  Move to Idaho instead.
