  1. Both Wexford and Sligo are fairly samll places ( each has a population of in or around 20,000) so,although they are both surrounded by some attractive coastal scenery, they might not quite fit most young people's idea of excitement.Dublin is very expensive and many residents view it as being pretty stressful.I'd recommend one of the other cities such as Cork or Galway as these places also have great nightlife, cultural scene, student scene and are surrounded by beautiful coastline.

  2. Wexford is a great place to live, friendly people and hugh club scene, with beaches and the most sunshine in Ireland, go for it..

  3. Why not try Northern Ireland? The currency is the same as you are used to plus it is cheaper to live in than down south with their economy at an all time low plus you can rely on the nhs if the worst happens and you take sick. You pay for everything south of the border.anyway the people are more friendly in NI.Forget all the hype about the troubles here as things are much better now.The statistics are twice as bad if not more in any part of southern Ireland for all crimes so think before you leap.

  4. Catch the next ferry from Fishgard good by

  5. id personally recommend cork-very friendly

  6. you should consider northern ireland. the people are friendly, and its much more peaceful now. i live in england but i hope to move back there next year, as my family is from there.

Personally, i prefer the north, as the economy is growing in strength after the troubles, whereas the republic is full of people who have moved there from other countries etc and has become expensive.
