I want to move to Italy for a year. I love city life shopping restaurants, but I also love outdoor life too.?

I want to find a place that will allow me to live in Italy and enjoy all the things I enjoy here it Philadelphia, PA. I love to shop, eat out, dance, and sporting events, but I also enjoy getting outdoors. I like to ski, camp, hike and boat. I want to live in Italy, but also be able to travel to other countries on weekend trips like I do here in the states.

Looking at the sports you like, I think you may evaluate to live near to our "big" lakes, like the Garda Lake, Como Lake, or Iseo Lake.

But for eating /night life you'd better go in Tuscany or Emilia-Romagna, wich allow you to go to the Adriatic sea coast in 1 hour. That two regions also have mountains, so you may still find some of your sports (sorry, i did not pratice any of them).

I live in Bologna and, if you like pork meat and pasta, you'll not find better place :)
