I want to move to NY and i dnt know my way around that well...?

I went to a hospital there and id like to live in the area, except i dnt remember the name of the hospital.......its in Brooklyn... somewhat near coney island.... i went from flatbush toward kings hwy... then some.... we went thorough a bad neighborhood... then got to the hospital which was in a nice neighborhood... i wish i can describe more but i dnt remember..... also if u know any low cost places to live in NYC which is safe also, please let me know

I live in Brooklyn =)

Chinese neighborhoods are Ave U and also 86th street. - They are quite neighborhoods.

Russian Neighborhoods - Brighton Beach,Manhattan Beach and and many in Kings Highway and Ocean Ave. Usually they are also quite although the neighborhood are more expensive.

Neighborhood that you do not want to live in !!  Coney Island, Greenwich village,Canarsie,Sunset Park or prospect park. If you do no want to get killed,robbed or raped then stay away!

Basically good neighborhoods are anywhere on Ocean Parkway,Bergon Beach is good, and manhatten beach. It is always peaceful and never has any violence.

BTW -- Mexican neighborhoods not to be racist or anything but many of the mexican guys are perverted(they start whistling and talking to you) so watch out.

Every neighborhood is categorized into race. Especially in Brooklyn.

(The hospital your probably talking about is Coney Island Hospital which is located on Ocean Parkway and Ave z. Near is is a High School..Lincoln to be exact.
