  1. Don't you need to apply for a 'Green Card'?

US Government immigration pages would be a good start. Should tell you everything you need to know.

P.S. I am not surprised that you want to leave the UK.

    Good luck !

  2. it is best to explore than just stay in one place☺☻☺

  3. You would need to apply to immigrate to the U.S. This is a long, complicated, expensive process.  Unless you have immediate family  (parents, children, spouse) members in the U.S. or a rare and much needed job skill, your chances are almost zero. The only way you could immigrate is to apply to the Diversity Lottery program...you must register for the lottery at least 2 years in advance, then about one of every 60 is chosen for consideration.  Right now, citizens of the U.K. cannot register for the program because the U.K. is currently over its quota...maybe in a couple of years, they will again be eligible. Also...New York has a cost of living 4 times higher than anywhere else in the U.S.  I know all this sounds discouraging...it is just the facts.  The good news is, as a U.K. citizen, you have the entire E.U . open to you...which Americans do not. You  will need to open your mind to exploring other possibilities.  You can research the sites below to see that immigration to the U.S. is not likely for you...there is only one other way you could work in the U.S. and that is to get a contract with an American company for a limited period of time..and they would sponsor your work visa.  See last site below.

  4. Stay in the UK.
