I'm freshmen in college and lived in Southern California my whole life(Palm Springs to be exact) and I'm anxious to move after college but I don’t know where. I would like to live somewhere outside of California, where it is hot enough in the summer to have a pool but cold enough in the winter where it snows. I would like to live in a residential area where there is a lot of greenery. I'm an outdoors type of person so anywhere close where there are mountains, forest, trails, etc. any suggestion?

  1. spain, balearic islands

  2. New England, preferably somewhere along the coast in Maine or Massachusetts

  3. Salt Lake city would work out fine for you.  Great summers and good hiking along the Wasatch mountains.  Northern Ca. has lots of spots that get real warm in the summer.  The area around Lake Tahoe has great summers and access to the Nevada casinos as well.

Then there is Boulder Colorado.  Great scene on the river with lots of people tubing during the summer and close mountain towns like Estes Park.

    hope that helps
