  1. You seem a bit unrealistic...there's a lot of people want to do what you want to do why should you be any different?

You cna get a 1 year working visa I think - but can only work 6 months for one employer. If you are serious about working with animals some work experience in a local animal shelter (voluntary) would be a help. Animals jobs are always badly paid - what can you realistically do which is worth 25.000 a year?

  2. If you can manage to bring some of that perpetual rain over to South Australia you'd be welcome here.

Come over for the working holiday (conditional visa) and see where it goes.

  3. You can apply for a student visa, which would allow you to continue your studies and work part-time in order to finance yourself. Such visas however are not automatic and university tuition fees are not cheap. In this way you could do a Vetinary Science type of degree and take your career aspirations from there.

Generally speaking, you would not be able to "move to Australia before going to college" as you would have no recognised skills that Australia needs; which you must have to begin the application process for permanent residency.

You could apply for a "young persons holiday visa", which is available to those aged 18-30, are valid for one year, and grant the right to work - but not for more than 3 months for any one employer. They are designed to give "young people" the opportunity to visit Australia for an extended holiday and finance themselves at the same time. They are very popular.
