  1. I want to move there too! Like when I'm done with college and stuff.

Well I want to move to Louisville because of the Derby and they seem to get nice all-around weather there.

  2. If your interested in moving to Kentucky not really sure where you can find the best all around weather and we have no control over that but if you want the best horse industry all arouind you pick, Lexington, Midway, Paris or any surrounding towns, they are all beautiful, with fields and fields of green pastures and trees, with horses grazing some of it is actually breath taking, be sure to have a camera.  I myself moved here in 1999 from Wisconsin and wished I had really moved here years ago.  Can't judge the people you have good and bad no matter where you live, but I love it here.  Happy hunting if you would like any additional information, feel free to contact.

  3. I don't know why you picked Kentucky but if I were you I would move as far south to be warmer and in the western part around Hopkinsville. If you move to Eastern Ky its at a higher elevation so I would think it would be colder... Just my suggestion. Welcome to Kentucky :)

  4. Why Kentucky. Never been there.

  5. I actually live in northern Kentucky and the weather is usually really good. We have to small city life and we also are only 20 minutes away from cincinnati so we also get the big city life also!

  6. I am from Canada, so go where the wind takes you.

  7. Hot, humid, gray skies all over unless you move to eastern Ky then you have hills, humid, hot, gray skies, lots of snakes, and weed. Whats not to like about KY?? However the green grass is beautiful.

  8. The weather is pretty much the same throughout the state.  In the summer its hot, humid and stormy.  But there's a famous phrase around here: "If you don't like the weather, stick around."  Its an homage to the fact that the weather changes a lot and drastically in the Bluegrass State.

Just a few weeks ago, it was 80 degrees plus outside for two weeks or so, then snowing on Easter weekend!

If you really are moving to Kentucky, there are more important things to consider than the weather.  If you need a city atmosphere with lots of things to do and a thriving arts scene - move to Louisville.  If you need some wide open country with rolling hills and southern charm - move to central Kentucky (just outside Lexington).  If you need some mountains, forests and lakes in the midst of some small country towns - move to eastern Kentucky (near Morehead or Ashland).  I'm not a big fan of western Kentucky.  Ft. Campbell is there, that's about all I know.

Good luck and welcome to Kentucky!

  9. There is NO SUCH PLACE as a town in Kentucky that has good all around weather... it's a miserable place to live if you want good weather.
