  1. I love it!  I would call her Lori for short as well.  I was named after my grandmother and my name is countrish as well and there were times I hated it but now that I know how much it means to my grandmother I love it.  Plus it's not too common so she will never have that confusion of having 3 classmates with the same name.

  2. i like the name lori and loritta....how sweet namin afta relative.... i would name her lori or jus loretta would do..

    make the rite choice

    hope that helped

  3. Great idea! Both mom and grandma would be pleased.

  4. How about Lorynn(e)?

  5. How about combining them and make it Lorelyn, Lorelynn, Loralynn, pronounced Lora-Lynn.  That is just an idea.  I definitely suggest a nickname for Loretta and Lori is awesome since it's my name.  Although I spell mine Lorrie.  Also maybe you could combine to make Lynette.

  6. Loretta Lynne is way too hick.  Why don't you combine them into Lynnette?

  7. eh i dunno about the alliteration.

  8. Its sooooooo adorable. awww. AWSM combo

  9. cuteeeeeee. :]

  10. That is a very  cute name, An idea you could try is what my fiances mom did with him take the two names and combine them his dads name is Don and his grandpas name is Steven and she ended up with Devon, so you could get names like Lauren or Lettie...

  11. I think it's a very nice name. It's sweet to honor your family =)

and you are lucky to have nice names in order to do that, I want to honor my family but am stuck with names like Barbara and Florence lol

  12. Too much like the singer, but beautiful name anyhow.  I would be interested to know their middle names and try and use a different combination.

  13. Like the country singer.... Sounds too hillbilly to me, personally.
