I want to name my kid These names what do you think?

I love the name Audrey Cheri (Sha-ree) Cheri is my moms name. Or Brookelynn Joy.

For a boy I love the name Braxton Andrew or Talan James

Are these nice names?

Audrey is very dated and not very nice. I have noticed a lot of people asking about this name and I just don't see the appeal.

I like Audrey Cheri. I also like the name Aubrey, not sure if you do though :)

I LOVE the name Brooklyn, but not with the spelling Brookelynn.

And I really like those boys names, very unique first names!

Talan James and Audrey Cheri are really good names. I love names that aren't too common and also have some kind of meaning to them.

These are very nice names, I like the fact that you used your mom's name for your future daughter's middle name. I personally prefer Audrey Cheri, and Talan James. They have a smoother flow.

I like the name Audrey, but think that Joy would go better as a middle name with it.  I don't like the name Brookelynn.  I don't like the name Braxton either.  It just reminds me of Braxton Hicks contractions.  I don't care for Talan either.  It looks like you misspelled Talon, and even that would not be a good name.  What about James Andrew?

I like all the names except Brookelynn Joy. It just seems so... cheesy. Audrey Cheri is much prettier, and it includes a family name. You can't go wrong.

audrey Cheri sounds awkward because of the repetitive sound. AudrEE CherEE. it doesn't flow well.

But I do like the name Audrey.

I think the spelling of Brookelynn is awkward. No one will ever be able to spell it, and she'll forever be correcting people. Brooklyn is pronnounced exactly the same, only is simpler and easier.

I think Brookelynn Cheri sounds really pretty.

Use your moms name and you won't regret it.  My mother passed away 2 years after my little girl was born and I am SO SO HAPPY that I named my daughter after her.

I like Braxton Andrew.  The only thing about Braxton though is I keep thinking about braxton hicks.(sp)  Sounds cute though.

The girls names are absolutely gorgeous! My daughter's name is Audrey Catharine. I like the boys names, but they are not my favorites. The middle names for the boys are great!

Audrey is a lovely name, and it's nice to honor your mother.

But Brookelynn?  No.  It's a great place to live, but a silly name for a child.  Brooke is a modern classic, best on her own.

After you've been pregnant, Braxton might not sound like such a great idea.  Braxton-Hicks are the "practice" contractions you have, often in your 3rd trimester.  Not everyone gets them, but it would be weird to suffer from them and then call your child Braxton.  I think it's a mistake.  If you want the "x" sound, try Dexter, Felix or Dixon.

As for Talan?  I always think of talon, as in claw.  I wouldn't name my son Hawk or Falcon, so I wouldn't name him after their claws, either.  But I do think it's becoming more popular, so I'm probably alone in that.
