I think it's time to wake up from that dream, I would love to get one also but I ain't got the money & I know my life ain't good onough to find one for almost free or free.

What makes you think there is someplace that you can get a parrot for  almost free??? I looked all over for breeder parrots. I never did find any free or cheap parrots any place in this country. Go to the park and catch a duck at the duck pond. You can probably get him cheap. If you can't afford the price of a parrot then what about the cage? The vets office to have it checked out when you get one. Food, toys and vitamins, fresh vegetables and fruits? You need to save your money and purchase a book about what ever kind of parrot that you are wanting. Your post makes it look like people over charge for their parrots. You get what you pay for!!
