I want to open a preschool in CT... what kind of degree do I need

What kind of degree do I need to own my own pre-school?? Do I need a teaching license or any certificates? I was reading about a CDA, do I need one of those?

I am also opening a preschool here in TN. yes having a CDA is a great way to start, thats the way im doing it. The requirements to open a daycare/ rpeschool in TN are...you either have to have a bachelors degree in any subject, plus 1 yr expierence working with children,OR  a CDA with one yr expierence working with children OR have a high school diploma and 2 yrs expierence working with childen. so u can open it with just a h.s. diploma IF you have the 2 yrs expeierence.
