  1. I had a similiar idea about opening a Nintendo based restaurant.  You need to go to their website and apply for a license to use character's likenesses and whatnot in order to be able to do this.  Likely, it will cost you a fortune to use that company's stuff to make your theme park because by using it, that is pretty much the selling point on the theme park, and Nintendo would want a BIG cut of the profits... that is even if they accept your idea.

  2. i dunno

  3. Your biggest obstacle would be getting the rights to use the characters. although some character belong to one company, most are owned by several companies. some don't like competition and would not allow their characters to be used if a rival companies characters are used. plus each one would charge a premium for the use of their characters. basically , a license fee. depending on how strict they are is how much control they will want to have over how their property is used.

it it impossible? no but it would take a lot of thought and work to try to get everything together. your best bet would be to look for one company (like Nintendo) and create based on that. who are their core audience? how can you appeal to them? what would make them come to a park? how can you make the idea appealing to Nintendo? you would have to have a concept, drawings, number of acres you would need to pull it off the basic park. number of acres you would want to leave undeveloped to build up the park later. location. etc. once you have the concept of the park, rides, layout, guest attendance, etc. then you can approach a company. remember, people like to see an idea, not just hear it.
