I want to order blank dvds in the mail but im afraid they will melt?

i want to buy dvds from amazon but im afraid that if they sit in the mailbox (or outside in a little brown box) they could melt and i would wast my money. and just because they dont melt doesnt mean that they wont get heat damage. do you think i should still buy them and take my chances or just pay more in stores? i live in chicago by the way if it matters.

if you leave cds in your car do they get messed up? never happened to me. i think youll be ok, unless its 300F in the windy city
