I want to own my own dance studio!?

Ok well i know i asked a question similar to this one a little while ago but i haven't been dancing long but i'm talented (not being conceited). I danced when i was like 3-5 and i quit but i started back up again in 7th grade. I'm now going into 9th grade and when ever i'm asked what i want to do when i'm older i always say i want to own my own dance studio. If i decided that's what i wanted to do i would want to major in dance but would colleges take me with only 6 or 7 years of real dance experience? can anybody helppp?

Actually, you may want to think about majoring in business and minoring in dance. A dance studio is a small business really, and if you don't understand basic business practices like marketing, advertising, finance and accounting, hiring practices and benefits, etc. then you will have a very difficult time succeeding. Unless you can afford to hire a business manager, but I would guess that when you start out you would be doing a lot of this yourself at first.
