paint on it right now. I have the picture drawn onto the wall already. My question is, what kind of paint should I use. Would acrylic paint be the best choice for my wall?

  1. you can use acrylic paint if you want but for a wall mural it will end up being expensive,...if you go to any hardware store and just buy the primary colours and black and white in the small tester tins(250ml size),..you can mix just about all the colours you want,...if you have a particular colour you want then you may have to buy that also in a tester,..as far as having a white background,..if you give the wall a sponge wash with a nuetral tone,..ie beige,..it will be easier on the other colours you put on,..if you do it lightly it shouldnt wipe away your drawing,..other tahn that,..have fun,..hope it works out for ya,..alan

  2. along with acrylic paint you can use some plaster of paris or m-seal etc to give 3-d look to the mural at some places.

you can retouch the same picture also

    take care
