what kind of paint should i use?

nitrocellulose lacquer or polyurethane lacquer.  nitrocellulose is what they use to paint cars and what women put on their nails.  its very hard and will make your guitar slightly more trebly than polyurethane will.  polyurethane is a similar acrylic kind of paint that is simply less plastic.  it is not quite as hard as nitrocellulose.  Polyurethane is uesd by companies like gibson and schecter and jackson, while nitrocellulose is used by companies like fender.
