I want to paint my f2 using krylon spray can paint. Has anyone else done this? How did it come out?

How many coats should I use of paint and clear? How long should I wait to clear coat the fairings?

I am not a big fan of spray can paint, if you must do a large surface.  I would take it to the body shop and have the job done right.  The chances of you doing it many times to get what you want is too high and will cost more $$$ in the long run.

poss to DIY, BUT prep, cleaning, temp control are all important.

Advise practice on scrap bfore painting ur bike

1-"coats" should b wet coats (means u want cooler temp as **** dries fast)

if coat dries will need to be wet sanded between coats

2-go w/ 3 for both

3-read can for recoat time

Mine came out fine.

2 tips: match lot numbers on the bottoms of the cans. Different lots can be different shades.

Use the large cans made for whole body panels.
