I want to paint the outside of my house? What needs to be done before I start painting?

I need to know what need to be done before painting (sanding, caulking, cleaning). I want to do a good job and not have to do it again in a year.

It should be more than 55 degree F temperature.

Depending upon the condition you need to sand it.

If you have bad surface then caulk it.

Then light cleaning.

Buy paint and other accessories.

Paint it.

Everything can be done in 2 to 3 days depending upon the size of your house.
