I have a choice, Spanish or French. I can see that the Latin American Countries are not as productive as the French, but I want to know your opinion.

  1. Spanish. More international and domestic (if in the U.S.) business transactions take place in Spanish than they do in French.

You comment about Latin American and other Spanish speaking countries not being as productive is very narrow-minded. A lot of the world imports to first-world countries come from these types of countries, countries in which: Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and various other languages are spoken. These are the types of languages that will be useful to you if you decided to pursue a career in international business.

France maybe a more established country as far a business, the economy and infrastructure is concerned, but a world leader on the world business stage, it is not.

Another thing to note is that many "productive" European countries such as Italy, France and Germany already speak English as if if was their first-language, especially in the business world. It is the other countries who are not as fluent in the English language that you need to learn in order to communicate effectively with them.
