I want to perform for the Christmas season...?

I normally sing in school choirs (college) but cannot take another credit this semester. I really want to perform for the Christmas season with a choir or something but don't know how to find out about organizations I can perform with. I live in Maryland. If anyone knows where I can find this information, I would greatly appreciate it. I have already searched online and am not recieving any effective search results. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried your local community theaters to see if they're putting on any holiday concerts or shows and can use some extra help?  You could also join a church choir.  Or how about rounding up some other folks like you and doing some Christmas caroling at nursing homes or children's hospitals?

Be really random and spontaneous and take a karaoke machine to the corner of a street and start singing O HOLY NIGHT! you will get attention and mabe some tips..if your a good singer that is.
