I want to permanantly delete a tab that appears on every page!?

Question

I can close it by right clicking in mouse and also by clicking 'x' on right side of page but cannot delete!

Everytime I log-on to internet it is still there next to the BT Home Page tab.

Have you tried deleting the tab then going to tools, internet options and under general selecting use current for home page - that is how I did it (whilst only having your desired home page up).
