so here goes. i concede mccains military record alone does not qualify him to be president. now tell me, what does obama have that qualifies him. his many years of community service, his harvard degree, his term in the senate? what is it ? and lets not point to anything republican, what would impress me on obama's resume'? thanks

  1. I like my whiny brother, that's like Obama. Then again, Obama doesn't apologize for whining.

  2. What impresses me in Obama's resume is his very presence in a deliberative body made up for the most part of wealthy white men.

If he had the perserverence to break into politics at all, then he gets my attention over most people. I feel this way about women politicians of both parties, or the few openly g*y politicians. They have decided to bust into a poker game that has had pretty strict membership limits over the years.

Whether he is a good enough leader to handle the white house... well, I'm way cynical. I don't think ANY of your elected officials have any real power. It's the bankers and industrialists that run America. That's been obvious for a long time.

So I'm voting not so much for a leader. I don't think any of can do that any more... I am voting entirely to show that the public is at last color, s*x and orientation blind.

Some time down the road, when the nation wakes up to the utter pointlessness of these elections, I will stand ready with the army of empowered citize4ns who march on Washington and help them round up all these political fakes.

I'm certain you will not really get this, but there, that's my 2 cents.
