I want to play volley ball.?

Question

My boyfriend plays volley ball and I want to learn how to play so I can play with him. He is very busy and cannot teach me. Does anybody know of any places where I can learn for free?

As everyone else said, the YMCA would be a good place to learn but it's not free. Check around your city for parks. I live in FL too but not near you but there's a park down the road and it has a gym and they have Youth and Adult volleyball nights so if there are gyms near you, check with them to see if they have volleyball available or if maybe you could get it started. People would show up and help I'm sure. You can also head to the beach and join in on some games. Ask someone approchable if they could give you some tips on playing and help you out. Also, if you're in highschool, you can go to the highschool's conditioning and learn there. You would just need your physical from a doctor and waiver on file there. I think the beach would be your best bet though or the park if you have one near. Then you can get a nice tan while playing. ;)

i was going to suggest the Y, but someone beat me to it. It's probably your best choice to learn.

The YMCA is not a free program, but it is close.  They often have leagues for beginners and clinics.
