  1. i've talked to many college coaches and they like it if you talk to them early. I'm 15 and i'm already talking to colleges. If you talk to them and send videos of you playing (i would suggest hiring someone to do it because they do a really good job). It doesn't matter what team you are on if you send videos and they think you are good they will come look at you.

  2. You can contact college coaches and give them your club schedule to come and watch you.    If there is a particular college you would like to attend, see if they have vb camps during the summer and attend it so you can be seen.

  3. Talk to your high school and club coaches about how to get in contact with college coaches. They both should have comprehensive books containing the contact information for every coach at every NCAA affiliated school. If they don't, addresses can be easily obtained via the internet or a phone call to the college. I do strongly recommend talking with one or more of your coaches so that they may give you an idea of what level you may be able to play at in college. They have comprehensive understandings of how you would fit in at the D-I, D-II, and D-III levels. They can recommend certain coaches who they have worked with or that they admire and can personally get you in contact with them. They will be able to put a good word in for you and help you along in the process.

  4. Combine all 3 answers above.  All 3 have very good points.

I want to add that being on the JV will not hurt you.  You could be the third best hitter in the state, but the other two are on the varsity in front of you.  Or the second best setter or Libero.  You get the idea.  Being on the JV does not mean you are bad.  It just means that you are not the best in the school.
