It is boring to just put them in their balls and just watch them roll around. I want something that will be fun to play with them.Any ideas?

  1. Buy some lego blocks.

    I use them to build mazes, castles, etc.

    They are pretty durable and easy to clean.

  2. I had the same problem when I first started raising hamsters, but after some experimenting, I found some simple things to do with my hamsters;

    If you have a hamster that isn't too skittish, you could let him ride on your shoulder. It seems kind of weird, I know, but my hamsters seemed to enjoy riding on my shoulder, and would often climb around my shoulders, enjoying the view. Let your hamster explore you; allow him or her to walk on your outstretched arms (just make sure he doesn't fall...)

    Also, let him or her down when you're doing something. I would often take my hamsters down into the living room and let them run around on the couch (closely supervised, of course) and explore.

  3. set up a hamster friendly play ground made outa toiletpapper rolls and other creative items.  place little treats around there to so its fun for them!

  4. toilet paper is amazingly fun

  5. you can make them all sorts of toys to play with. You can even try to teach them tricks. Here is a website that has all kinds of rat toys, but they work just as good for hamsters. I also put in a website that has some toys you can make specifically for hamsters. Check them out.

    oh, and you could get you little friend a little friend of her own to play with. Rodents like to be social.

  6. make a little play ground like those tollte papper rolls after its been used

  7. I got my two hamsters this little place http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f70/ja...      It was so fun playing with them i was hideing lots of seeds every were and it was fun waching them find the seeds or what ever they like to eat more so hope i helped ^_^

  8. You should make them a maze out of a shoe box or something.  I also built them a playhouse type thing out of Lego's, but they chew those.  Get toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls and make obstacle courses for them.  Or just barricade them in somewhere and let them run out in the open.
