  1. yahoo pool, create table.training that will give you all the time u need to practice

  2. you gotta play with a better person that can show you how to play and to better thats how i became good at pool

  3. That's fine....just rack up the balls and play by yourself.  You will find you get better by playing with someone else though since you are in a real game and have to figure out how to make shots or get out of hooks.

  4. Thats fine, but the only way you'll gain experience and new skills is to play against people who are better than you, the improvements come really rapidly as well

  5. i know you said don't want to play with anyone, but i'd say just play with a friend for fun

i suck horribly at pool but i still have a great time playing it and laughing at myself at how bad i am

  6. Are you referring to playing the online game on your computer?   Please specify.   If you're talking about real pool on a real table, then go ahead and practice alone....solo time at the table is the best!   If you're not inclined to do practice drills, play 9-ball...that's good for some solo practice.   If you don't mind doing drills, perfecting your stop shot at all distances should be one of the first things you work on.

  7. I like to play 9 ball alone. It's easier to keep track of what the next shot is instead of solids & stripes like in 8 ball. Plus it teaches you how to set up your next shot a little better.

  8. That's all fine and dandy, why are you telling us?
