  1. cardio like running, swimming, jumping rope, and biking etc. etc...

  2. distance running. im a cross country runner and you can tell a big difference on the court. try to run 10-16 miles a week. imma girl and run 12 a week. during season.

  3. I'm going to somewhat disagree with the cross country runner suggestion. It takes massive stamina to do that, but basketball is a game of bursts of running, walking, sprinting....all in a relatively confined area.

I'd do some resistance training if you can get your hands on the right equipment. Get some of that sparq stuff from Eastbay. The chute used to work well for us back in the day.

Do suicides. If you don't know what I mean, start at the baseline, run, touch the freethrow line, run back, touch the baseline, run to half court, touch that line, run back and touch, then run to the opposite foul line, touch, run back, touch, run and touch the opposite baseline, then run for all your worth back to the start.

My brother's high school team was a fast paced, pressing kind of team that relied on endurance and speed to beat bigger teams. They used to run suicides till they wanted to puke, but there wasn't a team around who could run with them for the long haul.
