  1. I'd go long wheel base for better handling, my truck preference is the Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi.  With 340 HP you could pull car trailers all day long.

  2. A Chevy 3500 dually With a 5th wheel in the bed of the truck.A 5th wheel is a attachment like a semi would use.Diesel powered is the way to go.

  3. Kevin P is nuts, don't listen to him. Most half-ton pickups are barely rated enough to tow the empty 3-car trailer, but that about it.

You will need a truck rated at least at 20k GCW. This rating includes most 3/4 and 1-ton trucks. You would be better off getting an even larger truck (24k GCW) like the Ford F-450/550 or the Dodge 4500/5500 series. But then I don't know what you plan on hauling either.

    Watch your weight ratings.

  4. Go to a trailer rental place and get them to look it up on their charts. They will not rent a trailer without knowing what you will tow it with and they have charts that rate the different trucks.
